Our main objective is to promote sustainable lifestyles for people and organizations in order to move towards a more resilient society,economy and planetary living.

Altekio contributes with its expertise in a systemic and comprehensive approach to address sustainability within their projects by means of integrating the ecological, social and economic dimensions in theory and practice. Altekio is an organization with a longexperience in leading processes of social transformation and innovation.

As trainers, consultants and researchers in the field of environmental, social and economic sustainability, its members provide services like the support in the facilitation of leadership, organizational transformation, community empowerment and social entrepreneurship.

Based on the belief that the means to reach the objectives are key elements, Altekio uses innovative methodologies such as social technologies (Open Space, World Cafe, Pro-action cafe…), the Oasis game, future scenario planning, Process Work, etc.

Since the beginning as organization, Altekio has co-worked with other social enterprises, sharing offices and resources.This is a reflection of Altekio’s organizational culture of cooperation and collaboration.

In this sense, Altekio is also part of a cooperative group (Tangente Grupo Cooperativo) that brings together 14 social enterprises and almost 90 workers.

Some projects are developed jointly with some of these organizations and others networks that we are involved in.

Biovilla is a portugese sustainability co-operative that aims to promote social, economic and environmental regeneration in an integrated and balanced manner through practical and innovative business models that place sustainability at the center of its action.

The cultural association ComuniTazione was founded in Ceglie Messapica, in the province of Brindisi, south of Italy in 2013, to build a winning project of the Puglia Region Call for innovative ideas, Principi Attivi 2012.ComuniTazione encourages and promotes the bottom up participation, the co-design at various levels, institutional and not, innovation in social dynamics through active citizenship activation.

Studying and using communication as active listening, speaking on the territory and fostering the creation of places and spaces for the meeting, the spread of ideas and the recovery of the sense of community.The tools to activate the participatory processes are ancient but also experimental, sensitive to the peculiarities of the historical period and socio / economic context. Comunitazione has a profound ecological approach and is committed to promoting respect for the environment, resource recycling and reuse, beauty care, the development of ecological awareness at the individual and societal level and the value of responsibility and sustainability. Taking inspiration from ecosystems, Comunitazione wants to bring out the hidden simplicity in complex systems, the richness of biodiversity. We also want to celebrate the profound joy that can break free in socializing, sharing and participate in the process of change. From 2012 comuniTazione started work to facilitate community processes in south of Italy (Puglia) and in other Italian regions: in particular it worked to empower networks in the social field. We organized several events, using participatory methods as World Cafè, Open Space Technology, Oasis Game to collaborate with several association in the italian field. We work with associations and national and international partners (Italia che Cambia, Armamaxa Theatre, NasoNaso Social Clown, Process Work Italy, Casanetural, Ex Fadda, Casarmonica, Facilitation Map, Action Aid, Altekio, etc …) on projects concerning issues of facilitation, participation and vostruzione of supportive communities. OUR SKILLS We experience games to develop the ability to collaborate, work in groups with a focus on the relationship and leadership issues. We work on the relationship between Social Clown facilitation intervention technique, in collaboration with the association NasoNaso Socialclown. We take care to design participatory events, in order to break the traditional pattern of the meeting / conference in which knowledge is transmitted in a unidirectional mode, exploring innovative ways to bring out the collective intelligence aimed toward co-design and conflict evolution. We use storytelling as a tool for meeting and report to develop dynamics of deep listening aimed, among other things, to bring out the empathy between individuals. We are studying the phenomenon of the sharing economy to produce social innovation realizing social projects developing sustainability on various levels. We handmade and published the ‘Cards and book of Facilitation’, an innovative tool to work on facilitation. We are spreading the themes of Processwork and Deep Democracy throughout Italy, organizing several workshops with international teachers and supporting the italian school.

Diversity Matters was formed in 2001 by Pat Black and Andy Smith, motivated by their shared passion for a more inclusive world. Over the years we have helped developed alternative community based and locally rooted organisations.

Diversity Matters was formed in 2001 by Pat Black and Andy Smith, motivated by their shared passion for a more inclusive world.

Over the years we have helped developed alternative community based and locally rooted organisations.

Our current focus is to develop new ways of bringing together the potential gifts and contributions of all. We organise events and forums that bring different interest groups together in order to help organisations or communities change creatively and usefully.

The projects we develop are always evolving as we move more towards fostering inclusive practice within small scale local initiatives in Scotland.

We also work as facilitators and consultants on a wide range of national training and development projects bringing together different interest groups and encouraging partnerships.

We teach and run training courses on a wide range of issues including person-centred planning, community building, diversity, deep-democracy and facilitation.

Good relationships are the key to how we work. We bring together people who use services, workers and families in forums that aim for ‘right relationships’. We use an approach called “Deep Democracy”, which brings awareness to and values all viewpoints and experiences. We like to design from the bottom up and we have a track record in the development of new services and organisations that keep the person and/ or their family at the centre and in-control. Self-directed Support is now the way most social care is administered in Scotland and we know it can be an innovative way to help enrich individual and community life and there is already a lot of knowledge about how to make it happen well.

Guided by the Elos philosophy, Elos Foundation is direct partner of Instituto Elos Brazil in the realization of our common mission of creating a movement to make the world we dream of a reality now. Instituto Elos sparks this movement through learning-by-doing trainings and community interventions, inspiring people across the globe to take action. The Processwork Hub is a network of professionals using Processwork and its applications in individual, relationship, group and community work. It was founded in 1998, by Lena Aslanidou, M.A.P.W., Alexandra Vassiliou, Ph.D. and Lily Vassiliou, Ph.D.

Its activities include adult education, development of awareness practice skills, conflict resolution, organisational consulting, and community work.

The Processwork Hub offers training seminars that focus on inner work and personal development, as well as the development of professional skills. Using the philosophy and theory of the Processwork paradigm, the trainings focus on topics such as body symptoms, dreams, relationships, altered and extreme states of consciousness, addictions, creativity, conflict resolution, group process facilitation, supervision etc.

The Processwork Hub collaborates with the private and public sector offering team building, team supervision, experiential training in communication, facilitation and conflict resolution. It is also involved in various projects around community work. Community work takes various forms, such as: Open Group Processes, Open Forums, Crisis intervention (work in crisis situations in schools), Projects involving awareness raising around issues of social marginalisation (such as theater work combined with open dialogue). The Processwork Hub is also the representative of the Grundkraft programs in Greece, Teachers Empowered and Leaders Empowered.

The Athenian Institute of Anthropos, (A.I.A.) is a Center for Research, Training and Development of Applications in the Behavioral – Social Sciences of Anthropos (the Greek word for Human Being, that is, the ‘’Whole Person’’). It belongs to the Society for the Advancement of Human Relations Research, (S.A.H.R.R.), which is a professional non-profit association, founded in 1963 by Drs. George and Vasso Vassiliou and is based in Athens, Greece.

The Α.Ι.Α. was conceived of, and, since then, functions as a collective academic effort based on the process of co-creating, co-producing and sharing amongst the Anthropos Institute Associates who are all social scientists.

The Anthropos Institute uses a Systemic – Dialectic Psychosocial Approach according to which “Anthropos”, is conceptualized αs α biopsychosocial, open, information-processing, decision-making, Anotropic System. This approach evolves in the context of the ‘whole’ which emerges from the interconnectedness of processes at different levels – that of the individual, the family, the group, the community, the society, the world at large. It is a multi-level, multi-focal intervention model and uses milieu-specific cultural research.

XENA is a non-profit, cultural association for social promotion which was set up in the autumn of 1994. Its name derives from ancient Greek meaning “foreign things”. Its main objective is to increase and improve the level of contact and interaction amongst different cultures.

It’s interested in issues related to intercultural learning, the prevention and fight against racism and exclusion, communication among youngsters, care of the environment, social and cultural services and the preservation of the artistic and cultural heritage.

Field of work (which are the main domains your organizations works on): Xena works in the field of intercultural education, non-formal education, vocational training, promotion of active citizenship, promoting projects both at local and international level. The main aims of our work are: – To offer young people the possibility to join mobility programs in educational, professional and cultural spheres and to promote awareness of different cultures and systems; – To promote opportunities for meetings between different cultures and to encourage greater knowledge of foreign languages also in the local sphere; – To promote intercultural learning dynamics, and to prevent and combat racism and prejudices; – To encourage the active and responsible participation of youth in society. How do you work with youth? (methodology used and examples of activities) Xena promotes projects mainly within the frame of European Programmes – such as “Erasmus+” (i.e. “Youth for Europe”, “European Voluntary Service”, “Group Initiative”, “Support Measures”, “Leonardo da Vinci” and “Grundtvig”). Beside this it works for the promotion of European Programmes in the local community (organization, high school, local authorities) . Structure of organization: Xena’s workforce is formed by experts and trainers of European programmes: Lifelong Learning (i.e. Leonardo da Vinci and Grundtvig) and others; youth workers/educators; youth information experts; trainers. This group is supported by young Italian and foreign people, with different skills, united by strong ideals towards the basic aim of the association. Volunteer work of all the members plays a fundamental role in the organisation.
